ACEC Membership Benefits

Here is how ACEC membership can benefit YOUR organization:


ACEC/VT Membership Classifications


Member Firm

This class of membership is available for organizations that may be a sole proprietorship, partnership or a corporation that is or does the following: actively engaged in the professional practice of independent Consulting Engineering; offers services to more than one client; maintains a consulting engineering office in Vermont in which qualified registration is held; has no financial connections with commercial, sales or contracting interests or other affiliations which conflict with the independent consulting engineering practice; and has high professional reputation and ethical standards. All Member Firms must maintain simultaneous membership in ACEC VT’s National Affiliate, the American Council of Engineering Companies.

Affiliate Member Firm

This class of membership is available for organizations that are a single-member firm or a firm that does not have an office in Vermont and meets the following qualifications: is a member of ACEC National and an ACEC Member Organization in another state; meets all other qualifications for Membership except office location. Only firms that are judged not eligible for membership as a Member Firm or Associate Member Firm can become Affiliate Member Firms.
