ACEC of Vermont Announces 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards

Vermont—The American Council of Engineering Companies of Vermont (ACEC of Vermont) recently announced the 2024 recipients of its annual Engineering Excellence Awards.

ACEC of Vermont’s annual Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition recognizes outstanding achievements in engineering projects completed in Vermont. Our member firms had the opportunity to submit projects in the following categories:

The award-winning projects were recognized for demonstrating exceptional innovation, complexity, achievement, and value. Three projects earned the prestigious Grand Award distinction, seven were recognized with Merit Awards, and one project received the distinguished Green Mountain Award. This award is given each year for the best overall engineering project in the competition.

“What a splendid event for Vermont’s engineering community to showcase their great project work,” said Brian Beaudoin, President of ACEC of Vermont. “There were many impressive projects entered this year. We want to thank our judges for completing the challenging task of choosing the winners from the sixteen projects submitted their work was appreciated.

We would also extend our congratulations to the Vermont Agency of Transportation on receiving the Meritorious Service Award and to Katherine “KC” Norris, P.E. for the Lifetime Achievement Award.”
